Motorola Smartphones will be available in Retail Stores Soon

Motorola, after a huge success with it’s three popular smartphone series Moto E, Moto G and Moto X is planning to sell the mobiles via offline stores in India. Currently, the Motorola Smartphones are exclusive available at for Indian users. Even though the mobiles were sold only through Flipkart, they have given a tough competition to the other rival companies.

“Motorola will go offline to make sure that more people buy Motorola products from brick-and-mortar stores in India,”  – Chen Xudong, President

Apart from this, they have already begun manufacturing their smartphones in Chennai under the parent company Lenovo and manufacturing partner Flextronics. It seems they might be looking “Making in India” campaign for promotional strategies.

According to Amit Boni, General Manager of Motorola India, the 4G variant of Moto E and the newest versions of Moto are being currently being developed in India and will be available for the users.

It would be beneficial for lot of users who doesn’t believe in online shopping and prefer to buy mobiles from retail stores. However, it would be interesting to see how well they promote through retail stores as compared to exclusive promotional offers  and discounts by Flipkart.
