Microsoft Ends Production of XBox 360, Servers to Remain Active

Today, Microsoft published an article for celebrating the 10 Years of Success  for XBox 360 and has revealed a lot of Information regarding the future of current and upcoming consoles. The biggest news from the Microsoft is the end of XBox 360. Yes, The company has decided to stop manufacturing XBox 360 console with immediate effect. However, the existing online game servers will remain active.

Xbox 360 means a lot to everyone in Microsoft. And while we’ve had an amazing run, the realities of manufacturing a product over a decade old are starting to creep up on us. Which is why we have made the decision to stop manufacturing new Xbox 360 consoles. We will continue to sell existing inventory of Xbox 360 consoles, with availability varying by country.

Although the production will stop, the company will continue to provide XBox Live services to the owners of this console. That is, the live servers of XBox 360 will also remain active, and you will still receive hardware support from the company.
